@5b61fbe551c9b438dddaa20d Hey you are welcome! Yep I am aware of the KETO diet. But I still believe that a diet plan that you can't keep up for a lifetime is not sustainable. Unless you are in a profession that demands you to go through it like high performance and high endurance ones like sports. Basically any thing that requires you to drastically change your lifestyle is not really worth it. A diet should not be something that you do for a couple of months and then leave. It should ideally be something that you will do despite of your activities and life plans. But anyway that's my take on it. If KETO works for you then you can try it. Also with regards to exercise, if that is something you hate then don't do it for a while. Just by eating well it's possible to reduce. Maybe after a while you can give working out a go. Also, have you considered swimming? I find it very therapeutic and I have lost weight amazingly well in the past by swimming. I think you will enjoy working out after you are somewhat lighter and more agile. Same was the case with me :) Tc 😊

Thanks aditi. Keto is not a fancy diet, j have done it in the past and it is usually practiced by athletes. I actually suck at exercise and in all genuineness I hate to exercise. I don't even like to walk short distance. I k ow for weight loss it's essential to exercise but I did some work out. No results so im just angry right now. But I'll jump back soon. Thanks k you for responding.

@5b61fbe551c9b438dddaa20d I just read your comment on wanting to lose weight. I think I had written a couple of posts recently on losing weight, working out and diet. Maybe those could help you. I would suggest don't go for any fancy diets. They require too much of a lifestyle change and it just messes things up. I would suggest that you stick to your regular diet. Just reduce the portion sizes by a third and increase the number of meals to 6 or 7. I usually take one cup of everything- rice, dal, curries, salads that usually helps me keeping a tab on the portion sizes. If you are having Rotis then have 2 to 3 depending on the size. I guess you know the drill of including fruits, dry fruits, greens and all nutrients in your diet. Supplement your diet with regular workout. Get about 40 minutes to an hour 6 days a week.Start a weight log and enter your weight everyday. Your bmi should be in the range of 20 to 25 for it to be normal. Better if it's closer to the lower side. You can check it on any free calculator online. I am certain you will be able to gradually notice changes in your weight if you stick to this with regularity. Keep a target of losing 1 kg a month or 100gms a day. You will not have the drop happening everyday. But this is a very plausible target. Don't lose heart hun. This takes time. Only think of reaching the next day. Don't bother about what is going to happen at the end of the month. Just keep at it. Sometimes all it takes is simple consistent effort. All the best!
