My 1 month old daughter had jaundice after birth ...but mild..doctor told only bf she should take and everything will be ok.. i m doing tht only and she is fine..; but my doc told dont keep her in sunlight. My question is now after one month can i keep her in sunlight for some time?? Coz my elders are telling sunlight is also necessary for babies..please advice

Yes u can,; we have month old twins and keep them in the sunlight post their sponge bath and they enjoy it

Dear plz kip ut baby in sunlgt fr smtym.its important as it givs vitD. Put diaper nd close eyes of baby nd shw sunligt fr 10 min.early morning sunlight; btn 8-8.30am.also ask ur Dr fr vit D drops. Dmt wrry much tc.

Dea Tania pls follow the doc advice, the bby is too small to tolerate sunlight so its usually not advisable. Thats de reason docs advise vitamin D drops to bby till 1 year. So dont worry.

Normally sunlight is good for the baby but if the doc said don't . .then please don't . . If you have any doubts , please clarify them with your doc and discuss why you can't keep the baby in the sun

Sunlight is very important as its a natural source of vitamin <u>D</u>.. Please ensure that you provide sufficient amount of morning sunlight to ur baby as it will be helpful for the rest of his life as well
