baby don't know about private parts... aap use jitna mana karegi utna use explore karne ki curiosity badhegi... when baby plays with hands or finger kya ap mana karti h nhi na?? then it will be difficult for him to understand your you saying no..<br> just distract the baby mind in a way that he even don't understand that you are stopping him to touch.. give him new toys..

this is a wonderful thread and I'm&nbsp; glad it's come up. In one of the seminars k attended (a great one organised by my son's school) it was shared with us by an expert that boys as young as 1 year can have an erection. it has nothing to do with a sexual thought, but is an involuntary reaction of the body (of course thats what it is meant to do right!) the best way forward is to teach your boy that these reactions are normal. sure he can touch it, sure he can clean it just like he would clean the rest of his body and in AGE APPROPRIATE language explain to him why it's private and should be done in the privacy of the bathroom. Please don't shun him or call it dirty because it isn't.&nbsp;&nbsp; It would be better you talk to him rather than when he asks questions he asks someone else.

It's natural. They explore their body. Simply distract him when he does so.
