My 2.5 year old is always running behind each milestone. I know very well that each child should not be pressured and I never done that. But I hate it when all the other young moms point out in front of hm that he cannot do this ... my son can do that ... We need to interact with others but will such talks harm my son.

The thumb rule is don't compare your child or his ability to anyone, if anyone does it, you can only ignore.. Please don't feel or show that your child is lagging in any area because it will brush off to him! Every child has his own traits and pace..

I can understand things. Being a mom of toddler , I too sometimes hear something or the other. Just IGNORE. You keep motivating him. Spend more time and engage in useful activity. I want you to remember Einstein story... he was a slow learner. But ppl will call intelligent person as eistein. whenever ppl point you...tell them.." My kid is Einstein".
