my 3 1/4 month old baby s crying alot. nothin can soothe her.. i gave her colicaid..dat too isnt wrkn..
she had cugh n cold too.. gv her medication fr d same.. she cries wen i draw her towards my breast for feed n does nt feed as wl..pls help..

When a baby has a cough and cold or any other infection appetite is low and hence they are not very keen on feeding. Especially in case of a cough and cold it is also possible that her nose gets blocked and she finds it difficult to feed and breathe. Please use nasomist or nasoclear a few minutes before a feed. You can also keep a napkin with some drops of eucalyptus oil on your shoulder. This will help make her breathing easier. Another possibility of excessive fussing during a cough and cold is ear ache. The ear can get blocked and make the baby uncomfortable. Do not attempt to put anything in the baby's ear or clean it yourself. Visit the pediatrician for a complete evaluation.
