My 4 months old baby boy is not taking feeds properly. He keeps sucking his finger and does not cry for feeds. I try to feed him every 4 5 hours. But may times he just turns away. And its summer. he does not feed in night sleeps for 8 long hours. And the first urine he passes in morning is yellow. What to do? I am worried and still now he has not started rolling over.

If the baby has slept for long hours and has not urinated for a while it is normal for urine to be concentrated and hence yellow. Your little one seems to have discovered non nutritive suckling and hence does not ask for feeds. Aim at feeding him for even a short time atleast every three hours during the day especially since he also sleeps thru the night. The rolling over milestone can be achieved till about six months. For some babies if their head is heavy they may take a little longer. If he is able to support his head now then you can encourage him by placing him on his tummy. And also when he is on his back help him to roll over. Make it like a fun game.
