First and foremost stop using the bottle completely. Once the suckling is not available on the bottle the baby will show more of an interest in the breast as suckling is a natural reflex and need for a new born. Keep trying and try latching the baby when the baby is not very hungry. Seek the help of a Lactation professional but when a mom calls me for Lactation help and is using the bottle my first advise is stop the bottle for three days keep trying and then book a consult.

hi nishu, once baby gets used to bottle, it will get difficult to get baby to latch on breast, because drinking from bottle is easy compared to suckling on breast. so first of all, stop bottle feed and give only by spoon... next i would suggest, everytime while feeding give breast first. babies are born with natural instinct to suckle. also do not wait for baby to get too hungry, else baby will be inconsolable. give feed atleast every 2 hrs. use your forefinger and middle finger to grip your nipple and areola like scissor grip, pull forward and give in baby's mouth.. breastfeeding is a skill that needs to be learnt by both baby and mother. you can get it right with a little patience and perseverance.. all the best dear. ..
