My 6 weeks baby is suffering from constipation from last 5days. Also he had his vaccination yesterday due to which he has fever. Doctor has given colic aid drops n calpol since yesterday. He is crying a lot. Many times it seems that he is trying to poop.
His weight is 4.5kg and his feed include breastfeeding, n formula milk is given only 2-3times in a day. Please advise what should I do??

Hi..formula fed babies tend to be more constipated than breAst fed babies.. having said that at this age it is normal for the baby to pass stools once in 4-5 days or even many tines a day.. now this is also an age where babies develop colic.. so since the baby was vaccinated yesterday please continue the meds given for today and if the symtoms contibue even after uky should treat this as colic..
