afer 6 months weight gain slows down. do not compare tje weight gain with the first 6 months. by 6 months baby doubles up birth weight by 1 year birth weight triples<br> .<br> if baby has not doubled weight, them u can meet a doctor to chk.

hi nidhi, weaning most have been started for your preemie. i too have preemie and our major concern is there weight gain. after intial 4 months weight gain is slow. once yoy have started with semi solids and solids check weather he is able to completely digest it not, if he is active , cracking milestones in time then there is no major issue. milestones needs to be counted from corrected age&nbsp; only , please check if his getting enough carbos required . you can consult good nutrition specialist. (what i have understood&nbsp; from post is that you have preemie)
