my baby boy is 20 days old.he used to pass stool once or rarely twice a day.but today he passed stool nearly 9 times since morning and that too in a complete liquid state with bubbles.is this normal or should I consult the pediatrician? his face turned very weak.I breast feed him. plz suggest!!
Multiple stools are fairly normal for N exclusively breast fed baby. If there is mucus in the stools then it is a cause for concern. Ensure that you feed baby for about fifteen twenty minutes on each side before switching to ensure he gets enough of the hind milk too.

thank u nazeema... yes its watery only. most of the times he's passing only water with bubbles.

Check if they are watery, else no problem. Baby's tummy takes time to adjust, stay calm. Bubbles are normally due to gas . Burp ur baby after each feed
