dear Akshata , sucking.finger is also a soothing method baby uses to fall.asleep . when u breastfed baby falls.asleep becoz he is sucking thats natural they use sucking to help sleep . if ur baby is sucking.fingers in sleep dont fed its not for.hunger and if he is awake.u have.fed him well.n still taking fingers it cud be jus to sothe himslef and fall.asleep . try not.to fed whenever he <u>cries</u> at night coz they start using breast as pacifier .

dear Akshata , two things that are really good here are . the baby is of a good weight and the sleep time of 8 is perfect . try to not change this time as baby love to sleep early in evening. Now I also want u to give baby the early morning fed at 7 .for the night ur baby can wake up 3 times for fed . 11.30 , 2.30 and 5.30 . try to stick to feeding at these times . soothe the baby if he wakes up every hr by other methods other than feeding. slightly rock him, pat him to sleep this is the best method , or sush him calmly .as the weight is good the baby can fed more at day and at this weight he can also sleep 8 hours continously . soo keep trying ur very close to long night sleep .

hi ruquaiya..my baby urinates for almost 20 times a day..his weight must be around 6kg..n his evening sleeping tym is aftr 8pm.m feeding him during day whenever he demands
