I am a physiotherapist and will say sitting is very important for baby skeletal system to learn bearing weight....what you can do is make him sit on exerise ball of smaller size .....balls you might have seen in the gym....with your hand support along with some music ....it will be fun and he will learn to

Make him sit with support . Also al babies are different. Soon he will sit too.

Massage him back two three times a day.

Some babies do that..all are different..mine crawled first before sitting..you can make the baby sit on your lap..that helps..give the baby time.. eventually it will happen
