Infants always cry for a reason, if they are hungry, colic ( most of the time at nights), wet diapers and for sleep. He is way too small to figure out day and night difference . keep your room full of sunlight duringday time and turn off lights at night, put dim light at night.

dear Sanghamitra., ur baby has day/night confusion. slowly try to soothe.ur baby to sleep at night . the more he sleeps at night the lesser hr it will be during day . this will take time but.keep trying . wake baby.for.feeds during daytime . so he sleeps long hr at nights.
