my baby generally wants to stand...i put him in sitting position but he stands with my support...whenever I lay down him to the bed he starts crying...and wants to sit or stand.

my baby would do the same around that time, he was happy in standing with support, I would make him sit with support too, by 6th month he started sitting without support. I think it's ok to make babies sit or stand occassionally but definitely not for very long.

hi tapti if he wants to let him for a while, no harm. encourage him to sit for sure!!
