I am glad Roop you are taking it in the right stride.
one more friendly advice from a Mom to a Mom not a doctor here.
Never ever compare your children in any respect. physical, intelligence, colour or anything. each child is unique and special.
And Don't pay heed to Anyone.Relatives may not mean to hurt u but kya kare kuch toh log kahenge logo ka kaam hai kehna so give a deaf ear to all the negative comments

Roop Honestly, I understand this is stemming from the mentality ingrained for years that Fair is beautiful.
your baby is simply wonderful isn't it?
truly tell me does that colour matter to you?
Focus on bonding well with your child. You have entered the most beautiful phase of your life called Motherhood. Relax and Enjoy this journey.
Ditch the thought of the colour.
Focus on your child being Healthy and Raise him/her to be a Healthy,Confident Human being and Nurture with all your love and Values that is what will colour her life.
Don't mean to lecture you but want to make you comfortable.
Happy mothering dear.

Your baby is beautiful whether fair or not. Why should we make or worry about complexion? Our babies should be healthy.
