My baby had the same issue .. pediatrician suggested baby dove for bathing n Cetaphil lotion immediately post bath n also in the evening...followed by petroleum jelly at night.

For dry skin,add a few drops of almond oil in her bath water,u can also do almond oil massage.for white patches can u upload a pic,else contact a paed.

I think u may apply coconut oil on baby's body
