Hi meeta its advised not to apply any oil on face for 1st few days after birth as the skin is very delicate. These boils will settle on their own.

Hi, i have read that rashes/boils which look like pimples or mosquito bites are common during the first few weeks of birth and it will resolve without any treatment

Meeta, dear, its never advisable to use any oil directly on a new born baby without doing a patch test. Whenever you buy any oil, take small quantity, apply on babys forearm, and see if he gets any boils or not,if he gets it,discontinue that oil. Every baby is different and you cant just experiment with different products on baby. Please discontinue use of oil for some time, clean the face with luke warm water,if babys skin is dry, then use few drops of almond oil in the babies bath water. Always do patch test for 24 hrs before using any oil. All the best!
