Hi dear this is normal, they release their heat thru head as rightly said above they have sweat glands there

Baby's have different phenomenon than adults sweating. 
They don't have proper sweat glands, the only sweat gland is in their head, so u feel warm all the time. 
Moreover they don't know to adjust their heads if they sweat too much like adults. Babies sleep in the same position too. 
Make him wear comfortable clothing, don't cover the head if sweating badly. 
Incase abnormally sweaty chk with pediatrician. But usually this is a normal phenomenon
