Hi Neha, the heart beat rate changes throughout the pregnancy. lot of old wive tales say if the rate is below 145 it is boy n greater means girl. Initially my baby's bpm was 170 then it reduced to 155, 150, 147 n agian raised to 155 in the subsequent check ups. I was blessed with boy. So it proved wrong in my case.
