my baby is 1 month 1 week old, elders saying that i should tie a cloth like a cap otherwise the skull will grow faster & it may look bigger than body part. should i really need to do it? if so, how many days i need to follow... (its being hot these days thus baby getting sweat to tie like that)

Hi, its not necessary to tie cloth to baby's head.. however growing of skull isnt in our hands.. better to make baby feel comfortable according the weather.

by tieing cloth u can't stop the growth if it tends to grow.it ll grow how much it should u be cool n leave the baby in his/her comfort as too much heat may make him fuzzy n too much cold he might cry check wat is baby <u>comfort</u>

Hai Revathi.. I understand your concerns. Elders use to tie cloth around baby's head...so that it remain in good shape. As baby's skull will be soft and some bones are not fused. U can use pillow meant for new borns.<br>
skull will grow bigger than body...it's false. Nothing like that. Every now and then wipe baby's head with soft cotton towel. sometimes color changes due to heat. Don't worry... even if you don't tie. . nothing will happen. If you want to tie..tie now. later baby won't allow you.
