my baby is 1 month old, he can't sleep at night and makes sounds and stretches himself , why he do.so ?
yes, my baby used to squirm around a lot, at first i thought it was normal... but it was the beginning of a big gas problem... give lots of tummy time, do proper burping, massage tummy gently in clockwise motion...

Make baby burp. Sometimes it's irritation due to gas accumulation in their small tummy. Slowly things will settle. My mom in law and my mom use to say.... " Bacche ki nazar lag gayi hai". And they use to revolve crystal salt around the body and flush it ( or throw in dust bin).

At 1 month a baby cannot grasp the concept of night and day.. That will take upto 6 - 8 months for him to understand.. All babies stretch and keep squirming.. its normal

the baby is too small to know anything... it is completely a different environment outside the womb than it used to be inside, thus kids take some time getting used to the surroundings, sleep patterns and people around. now as they can't talk they resort to different voices nd gestures to convey their convenience or inconvenience
