My baby is 26 days old today. My body is not producing sufficient milk despite medication, home remedies like methi seeds and starch water and plain water. While the milk production has improved over the last few days, it is not meeting my son's requirement whose appetite has increased. The doctor is advising against top feed but I can't keep my baby hungry, can I? Also, the flow of milk is too slow and so he has to suck for atleast an hour ( 30 mins at each breast) which tires him and makes my nipples go sour ( yesterday there was a cut and bleeding). How do I handle this?

My sil was having the same problem she used The Moms co nourishing feeds tea with nipple butter.it increased her milk after 2-3 cups a day and the results very awesome. Tea is a herbal blend and caffeine free. You should give it a try.
Nipple butter helped her keeping her nipples soft and sooth and she never use to wipe it off as it was lanolin free so was safe, even if goes in your babies mouth .
