My baby is 27 days old. Since 1 week after her birth I m noticing water and white discharge from her left eye. Her doctor adviced me to slowly massage the corner of the eyes. He said he will not give any drops for eyes now. M regularly doing the massage as shown by doctor but it's not helping. What can be the reason? Is there any other way to treat that??

Hi...this happened with my baby too...initially it started with right eye and gradually it went on to left eye also...it is a yellowish discharge...i just kept cleaning it with a soft wet cloth since then and now gradually it has started decreasing...i have read somewhere that this happens due to closed tear ducts...also show it to ur doctor if not satisfied
