My baby is 3 months old. She sleeps less.. In night gets up after an hour. Her sleeping pattern is not proper. What could be the reason n what should i do to make her sleep for long duration.

babies wake up for feeds in the night, but since ur baby is waking up after every hour, please check if she is feeding properly. for how long does she feed? also, to develop good sleeping habits, set up a night time routine n stick to it. it can include a massage, a feed, a lullaby n finally settling down to sleep.. this will ensure that she knows that it's Time to sleep.. also make daytime feeds more interactive n bright, n at night all quiet n dark. do not talk to her while feeding at night so she understands that night is for sleeping.. hope this helps :)

till 3 months babies are like that. try to keep lights off or dim during night. if this behaviour is recent, then baby might be going through a growth spurt, hence demands more milk.. if baby is active and passing urine more than 6-7 times, she is getting enough milk..
