My baby is 3.5 month old she doesn't take feed properly ...only 4-5 times in a day ...us it normal or something else..and another thing that sometimes i found some minor blood spots in her nostrils ....but not in a routine ...please suggest

4 months will take at least 8 to 14 feeds in 24 hrs, the session will be short because they get to suck more by this time. For blood spots check with your doctor.

It's not normal Renu. Please ensure baby feeds every 3 hrs for at least 20 mins,10 mins each side at one time. Babies tend to be distracted at this age as they are more aware of their surroundings. Dim the light ,wear a nursing stole,caress the kid,hold her hand and talk to her that it's her eating time. It won't change in a day but gradually you will see the difference! Blood spots in nostrils are due to excessive heat,dehydration or tensed membranes. In this case since baby isn't feeding well,it looks like dehydration. Please feed!!

hi renu, what is baby's pee count? at this age they get distracted but 4-5 times is not enough. sharing some tips. pls consult dr about blood spots in nostrils. it's very hot nowadays so pls try to feed baby regularly and keep her cool.
