My baby is 3.5 months old from about a month I am giving him formula milk 30 ml twice a day as suggested by MIL but I want to discontinue formula. Is it possible to restart exclusive breastfeeding? What should I do??

Why not. You can. And since the fm quantity was so ltd it will be very easy for you. Baby is just 4 months even if you just drop fm altogether it won't affect. Keep feeding yours

hi shikha, yes you can very much start exclusive breastfeeding for that you can go on a nursing vacation , you need to have a lot of patients have a healthy diet and keep your child close to you as much as possible and also keep on latching the baby to your breast as often as you can. the problem is the same as and when you give your FM the BM reduces and we take it for less supply actually the problem is when the child is given FM the child doesn't feel hungry for a longer time which in turn makes you lose the breast milk session. how often are you giving FM reduce the quantity initially and then later on go on reducing each session of FM and am sure you be able to do it very well.

Hi yes you can and you have lot of time but you need patience as well. Cut 1 feed (fm) at a time, keep latching the baby to your breast often supply will increase. Let the breastfeeding session be quality time between you and your baby, have lot of skin to skin touch, keep the baby close to you. Exclusive breastfeeding is possible, tagging @637371add28b060015d99780 who switched from fm to bm after 3 months. So give your thoughts Nilofer.
