My baby is 3months 12 days old ...she is on exclusive bf..once she feel full she will fall asleep but she wants to suck an empty breast...but whenever she sucks milk will come so that she spiting that milk and crying...shall i use a pacifier..???is there any pblns by using pacifier..plz give suggestions..
Do not use a pacifier as that will cause nipple confusion as well as non nutritive suckling. It is best to encourage baby to fall asleep without suckling at the breast. Try other techniques like patting, swaying, swaddling or singing to help calm the baby to sleep.

Hi Deepu , Pacifiers are ok to use when u have fed the baby well and it jus needs to suck inorder to soothe himself. around 4 month age.mark u can get rid of pacifier habit gradually . but use it as ur last resort rather than first option and remove from baby mouth wen he falls asleep.
