I agree with all the moms, fm is not required at all if u r exclusively breastfeeding. after 6 months when you start weaning, you can continue breastfeeding. regarding other liquids like water n juices, after 6 months when you start, it's advisable to give by spoon, because it's difficult to wean babies off bottle too. my baby is 6 months n i have started weaning, I have made a point to use bottle as less as possible, and give water n juices by spoon. there was initial resistance but now she takes water n juices happily by spoon.

Dear Priyanka...don't get confused from other's advices......dont start with fm or bottle feeding...as .Priyankasood n.SonamPatel said  6 months of exclusive bf is a must for the baby n during this period you shouldn't give anything extra not even water to your baby. After 6 months you can start with semi liquid food or juices along with bf. why r u thinking to gv fm when your bf is enough. Take care

At this age exclusive breastfeeding is enough. There is no need for top feed. Keep monitoring baby's weight. Also do not bottle feed. That would lead to 'nipple confusion' and baby may prefer bottle than your milk. Follow your own heart and instincts

first of all why would you give formula milk after 6 months.. you can continue with breast milk.. and if you will feed with bottle.. she will refuse breasts.. so, it better to breast feed your baby now and after 6 months too..
