thnku so much m on antibiotics but still i cn feel the pain as soon i try to feed the baby even the supply hs gone slow n other nipple gets red if i try to giv m very much upset dont kno wat to do

The periods do not affect the milk supply. You may see a change for a couple of days or a change in the baby's response as after all periods and Lactation are both hormonal but the body will adapt and adjust. If you skip feeds surely your supply will go down. Antibiotics can also cause this effect. However since the mothers health is important we do need to give medications if required.

thnku so much actually i gt a muscle pull frm last 2 days n i couldnt feed him.i thought may be tht is the reason.. i m on antibiotic too frm 2 days.. so i dn even kno if thers a drop..il hope it dsnt effect..

swaima...don't panic... at times women do tend to get their periods even while breastfeeding. As far as baby is nursing regularly everything is fine. Incase you do find any drop in milk supply do check with your doc in what way supplements can help you.
