My baby is 4months old . He is suffering from loose motion since this saturday. He pooped 5 to 6 times since then. Though their is no sith of mucus. Have consulted with doctor on monday and he had given a probiotic ampul. But still loose

He was on exclusively breastfeed. But 4m this Tuesday I have started giving him top feed on doctor's advice . Which was precribed for his less weight gain. Doctor has said that he doesn't seem to have infection after Monday's check up. But 2day he asked me to give antibiotic. Plz help.

Breastfeeding babies will pass loose stools, if there is no discomfort at the baby's side it's fine. I would suggest you to wait for another 2 days n see or consult different doctor. Because baby is just 4 months no home remedies, you cant give anything except bm or fm. Also what is the reason for this loosies? What is the doctor saying?
