My baby is 54 days old and in my initial period i got good support from parents but now i have to manage alone as husband leaves for office.my baby is on 70 % bm and 30% fm.he usully spits up and vomits even that is forceful.i burp him for approx 20 mins and whole day this activity goes on and i am tired and helpless as i need to feed and burp him even after breast feed which is giving me backpain headaches as feeding takes 15 mins and 20 mins burping. Not sure what is the solution here.
Note:my baby vomits sometimes even breast milk and its not overfeeding as if i only give fm (30 ml) he vomits if no burping.

hunger in night is directly proportional to the many times he goes to urine in a day So baby is urinating more than 8 times in a day that definitely your baby will be hungry at night time do not worry in this is a good sign hunger is a good sign of growth.
Keep giving similac you can also inquire about isomil with your pediatrician it is given to babies with digestive problems.

@616fdb6bee57850013f09995 first of all thanks for such a detailed answer.
His vomits are not after every feed but mostly after formula.earlier he used to vomit a lot when he was on nestle nan pro and we changed to similac and vomit reduced from 4 to 1.now we are using similac.Regarding time table my baby wakes up in 2 hour automatically for feed so its a schedule for him.Another this he is on breastmilk 24*7 but he demands for more more milk after 8 in the evening and i need to topup with formula after breastmilk and from 8 to morning 6 he takes breastmilk follower by 60 ml fm.not sure why he is so hungry in night

What I can understand by your question is that baby is vomiting after every feed so please help me understand whether the vomit is curd like and is a little quantity then you need not to worry it is normal and babies they do throw up till they are age of 15 months burping is the only solution when we talk about vomiting also if you are giving formula feed and recently have changed formula then this can be because of the change in new powder the amount of feeding required for a 1 month old or a 2 month old is different when feeding formula for a 2 month old it should be between 60 to 80 ml and you can make sure that you feed your baby after every one and half hour if you are feeding formula then keep a time table formula should be fed at day times so from morning till the day time you can feed formula and in evenings till night you should feed your own breast milk so this will prevent throwing up vomiting if the vomiting is entirely in a projectile motion then you will have to check and keep a gap of more than 2 hours between feeds and you need to check whether this projectile vomiting is happening after feeding formula is happening after feeding breast milk
