Teeth will come... don't worry! My daughter got her first tooth after 13 months! I too frantically asked round until a mother in a mall told me what her doc told her -"Have you ever seen a 5 year old child without teeth?! ;-)"

No problem.. My son had his first teeth at 11 months.. Dun worry.. Ppl say more delay in teething, they get stronger teeth.. So there's nothing to feel worried.. Everything takes its own time

My younger one cut his first tooth at one year and two months only. I was worried back then. Like you said the gums were very hard. I visited the pediatric but she told me not to worry at all. As for now enjoy the cute mouth though when other kids your baby's age have teeth and you'll wonder when yours will sprout hers :)
