My baby is getting her first teeth. She is crying most of the times. I am not comfortable to give her pacifier or teether. Since it may cause infections. But she tries to put everything around in her mouth. I tried giving her a carrot just to soothe. It worked. Can I do that? Any suggestions???

She must be having a heavy head and itchy gums so if possible massage head twice a day with ghee or if can't then Rogan badam Shirin from hamdard or coconut oil..

Massage her gums with clean cloth, teething is phase and they will go through this. Give food which she can chew and eat, she will like it. Like oats, daliya, roti, crispy dosa.

Yes of course frozen carrots are best option. Frozen teether is a good idea too. Massage her gums with clean damp cloth

Yes you can but be careful that she doesn’t gulp down a piece of it which can cause choking. You can also put a spoon in freezer and give it to her. Also massage her gums with a clean cool cloth. No More Teething Troubles: Live Q&A with Dr Diksha Batra
