my baby is having green stool since some days.. sometimes it is fully green and sometimes green and yellow .. the doc said it's normal unless there is mucous and to sterlize all this feeding utensils and bottle properly.. currently I am using Phillips avent sterlizer.. does that sterlize well.. could it be that it's not sterilizing the bottle properly?

I m using the same sterilizer, no issues with that. Just maintain the hygiene after sterilization and keep the sterilizer clean after use. And stool Color is absolutely normal until any mucus is there. Are u Giving any iron supplements to ur baby. Bcoz this color generally comes in that case

I have used the same sterilizer. It does sterilize properly provided that you put right amount of water and do not put too many utensils at a time for sterilization. Also once the bottles are sterilized do not touch the bottle nipple. Wash hands before making the feed and maintain the hygiene.

I would advise to personally sterilise. Ideally only once formula should suffice else switch to spoon and bowl which is more convenient. Keep couple of utensils and if you can use vidanga water with formula nothing like it.

If the baby is taking formula as well it is possible that the color maybe greenish yellow. If there is no mucous then do not worry. Also ensure that you feed the formula within half an hour of preparation and do not store it for long time.
