Most times moms over estimate the portion size that a baby needs to eat. A child at one year needs about 1/4 the portion size of an adult. So maybe half roti a small vati of dal and a small vati of veggies is enough. Also a one year old will not like to sit in one place and eat. Which means that you need to serve small meals so that they don't have to sit for a long time. Do not let them run or crawl all over the place but make them sit in a high chair for meal times.

Hi Vaishali. It could be due to various reasons. Children mostly do not like eating and would rather play. Have you tried sitting baby down with toys or a good book while eating? Please do check out our recipe section for kids. Some ideas helped me.
