Hi Aradhana , you could give citrus fruits as that will give vit c an antioxidant and immunity booster to fight infections . Just make sure the fruits you use are at room temp and not cold . And the oranges if a little tangy then it’s better avoided to prevent sore throat . Regarding the fruits , you can give all kinds of fruits like banana , watermelon , mangoes , pomegranate etc . Kids should have 3 major meals and 2 snacks ideally . Fruits can be given as snacks around 12 pm and Around 4-5 pm . Juices are best avoided instead give whole fruits .

Hi mommy
Fruits are always advised to be given separately before feeding food. If taken along with food the fruits have the ability to get a rotten effect while digestion.
So give it as a separate meal count. All varieties of fruits can be offered. Especially vitamin c rich foods are required to be given to cope with health loss.
Spinach soup, garlic, turmeric, ginger added to other foods in. Moderation helps, citrus fruits, bell peppers cooked mashed, peas, chicken soup, etc.

Hi dear, when baby's healthy I give at least two types of fruits a day and they are given as snack(three meals and two snacks a day). When baby is sick I go for pepper-garlic infused porridges, overall food will be easier to digest ones, not heavy, avoid cow's milk and banana... Rest all fruits I find ok for him... Doctor also asks me to avoid wheat during this time...; Keep the food gaps such that; he gets time to feel hungry... keep the timings regular...
