Yes femite can be used. But it's taste is very very bitter. So in case you plan to give please be prepared for the child's reaction. Keep something sweet ready to soothe the child. I would say keep this as a last resort. Try something else. May be apply lemon juice, or ginger paste. Try to distract the him when he does that.
