My baby takes feed not more than 20 or 25 mins from 1 side , sometimes after burping she will take other side also or just sleep for an hour to 1.5 hrs. Is this normal? Whenever she is done with feeding there is always excess fresh milk in her mouth so I'm sure she had good feed. But recently I had a talk with my frn where her son takes; 40 mins one side and if he is removed from that breast he cries a lot. I'm confused now. ..

I know she is not even 20 days old and we haven't checked her weight after her birth but as a mom I'm always worried if she gets good milk. Yes I track her pee count and she does potty also.. my mom says she bit heavy while carrying her but I don't know I'm so obsessed with my feeding and weight gain. .

Every baby is different and it's best not to compare. If baby is sleeping well, gaining weight, is over all happy and comfortable and most importantly is passing urine minimum seven times per twenty four hours you know your baby has fed well in the last 24 hours. Do not try to follow or compare another baby's patterns.

Totally; normal dear. It really depends . Some babies need more and some mom's feed more at a given time. It's ok . Good job <u>mommy</u>
