question
My baby used to have sticky eyes in the first month and doctor suggested to use some eye drops and it was not there for few days and I stopped putting drops in his eyes. But now again one eye is little bit sticky with some mucus in it. Asked Doctor and he suggested to visit Eye specialist. Do I need to go or can I simply put those drops but will it come back again? Really worried. Please suggest.

Sharmila it's better to consult, so that you will be relieved.

It's better to once Consult an eye specialist as it's a matter of an important sense organ..massage gently the area near eyes as sometimes it's due to tear duct issue but still mucus indicates sometimes an infection too..

It's not worse but whenever he sleeps and wakes up some water from the eyes comes and little mucus forms. Shall I continue those Tobramycin eye drops and then see the doctor.
