hi keerthi, till 6 months compleye, you should only breastfeed... after that start with fruits, veggies and semi-solids... if weight is sufficient, then baby is getting milk... otherwise, how would he gain weight, right? if you r thinking baby is not getting milk because baby is crying then there are many reasons baby cries, other than hunger, like gas, or other discomforts...

for 4 months old baby u shud giv exclusively BM..nothing else..and to increase BM, first u eat properly,intake plenty of fluids,fruits and veggies..
