my child is about 2 months old. He used to show sings of hunger countinously. I have been breast feeding him till date but now I bought lactogen and tried it for a feed. just 30 ml. he was still hungry so I fed him more 60 ml. He became quite satisfied after that. Does that mean he didn't get enough milk earlier? I am worried about it as I really want to continue with BF but I feel I'm not having enough to fulfill my baby's needs. What shoul I do? plz help.

I felt BM was not sufficient enough for him hence I bought lactogen. Then too I BF him mostly and give him Lactogen just once or twice a day.
My baby urinates around 10-15 times a day but passes stool just once..
He was 2.5kg at birth and his weight is gradually increasing. He is about 3.10 kgs now. He even passes wind a lot. Does he have some digestion problem or is it normal? Because my inlaws say that this thing of passing wind is hereditary in their family

Sona hi. As advised by Babychakra Pre Natal expert Dr Riddhi Chandarana.
Hi Sona ,
Whether your breast milk is enough or no , you can check by observing the urine & stool outputs and weight gain for the baby . Healthy weight gain , 10-12 feeds in 24 hours , 6-10 urine outputs & 1-2 stool outputs in a day - is normal and healthy .
If this is what ur baby follows - milk is enough and there is no need for lactogen . When u start powdered milk like lactogen it has high sugar content so baby will sleep better after that . But that doesn't mean u keep feeding them that .
There has to be a reason u started lactogen for ur baby if u still wanted to continue breastmilk . Please share ur reason , then we can take it ahead from there
