My Childoo & My BFF's Childoo
Every summer I visit my parents' place and look fwd to catching up with my BFF (we've been close since 7th std and speak to each other almost every day). Our kids are just 7 weeks apart :) My girl, her boy.
This time we were both wondering if they'd even play together! They are at the age where they have different interests - boys want to be boys and girls don't want to be boys!!
But touchwood, even though they are like chalk and cheese, every evening they look fwd to meeting and playing with each other! He has taught her how to play cricket!!!!
Y'day evening we went to a lovely cafe and these two monkeys went to the selfie wall, posed and clicked! While they were indulging in their selfie frenzy, my bff and I thanked our stars that they still know how to co-exist and enjoy each other's company.
Do you or does your child have such a friend? Do post pix or tell me how they play together!
Here's to awesome friendships!
