Hi ofcourse you can , Wash her hair every day, by 8 months babies should not have cradle cap. Mix little savlon in 1 mug of water , using cotton gently clean her head using the water. Be slow and gentle. You can also apply oil and comb her hair, sometimes due to excessive oil or happens so make sure her head is not oily.
