My daughter hated malai too, it just made her cheeks sticky n didn't help much as she tried to rub it off whenever I applied. I then just sticked to Bioderma atoderm soap for her which moisturised well without drying out, and used cold pressed coconut oil if necessary.

I agree with what Revauthi said. Also malai would be so greasy. So, you can always try Bioderma atoderm soap. It's made up of Shea butter and glycerine and will help.
