My daughter is over 2 years old! Please suggest me some nutrition products which can help her develop cognitive powers.

hi. do not go for processed powders available outside. roast flaxseeds and finely grind it. sprinkle some on her food once a day. make an almond walnut powder and store in the fridge. give her one TSP a day. mix it in her oats or ragi and give. these days lots of brain enhancing medicines and tonics are available but these are factory processed and have dyes and preservatives. so avoid outside tonics. in addition to food give her activities to stimulate her developing little brain. such as painting, exposure to books and blocks. limit TV/screen time to 1-2 hours a day. you may feel the nursery rhymes and cartoons are informative for a child but it is a passive activity and there is little development for the child watching TV. instead engage her/him in some rhymes and songs that you sing. ask her questions and begin to let her do simple tasks like fetching your keys, giving you a glass of water etc. reward her with a thankyou or a kiss. she will develop a strong sense of manners as well as helping nature on being appreciated at such a young age. stimulation is very important for cognitive development. has more effect than food. and lastly please don't feel a sense of urgency to boost her development. you can only guide and help the child. don't compare your child to some other kid and get stressed.
