My doctor has prescribed me calcium and iron. My mom told me that calcium generally should be taken in the afternoon and not in the night..since it's hard to digest and may cause stones... Is that true?

My gynaecologist recommended me to take iron tablets 1 hour before heavy meal. Also for better absorption of iron have it with glass of orange juice( basically with vit -C) Not to take calcium n iron together keep a gap of 6-8 hours

You can eat anytime I akways had calcium in the night . Just make sure Iron and calcium are not consumed together and iron should always be in mornings. So as Parul said iron in the morning calcium in the afternoon.
