My friend delivered a baby girl 5 days ago..baby is not latching properly..her nipples are getting cracked and blood is coming..her doctor has given ointment for nipples and asked her to use a nipple shield but still its getting cracked...any home remedies for cracked nipple?
This is clearly the case of an incorrect latch and nipple shield is not the solution. It is important that the latch is corrected. There are many lactation specialist all over India and some good ones on this app as well. Your friend should see one asap.
