My gynac says feed from one breast and alternate the other for next feed. However elders at home r saying feed from both the breasts each tym. confused !!! what to do ??

It is important that baby feeds long enough on the first breast. Offering the second breast just increases the Stimulation and hence can lead to adequate milk supply. The breast should be completely emptied then baby should be held upright for a burp and if required second breast can be offered.
