my gynaec did an internal check and said I have still not started to open up, I also got an ultrasound done and baby head is still not engaged, my doctor wants me to wait for labour to start till Monday or get induced. is there a possibility for induction to b successful as body not showing signs of labour? I am 40 weeks 1 day today
Your doctor does want to wait till Monday. The baby's head engaging is one of the crucial aspects of labor starting or induction being successful. However in some cases with the induction and maybe breaking the bag of waters the head may come down.
