My newborn baby is passing stools frequently in small quantity. As I feed her at interval of 2 hourly. She poops while passing gas, after urine also while straining. Since yesterday she has developed rash. I am using daiper rash cream to clear it.

Thank you Rebecca & kavita for reply. For last 3 days I used diaper at night, now again stopped using it. Yes kavita Appling cream on rashes

Hi Archana yes it's absolutely normal to pass stool like that and it's a sign that baby is getting adequate milk from you. Are you using diaper? Use soft ones like pampers, huggies or Johnson's nappy pads. Give diaper free time.

Apply some cream or coconut oil..on the rashes.
